System analysis and economics

The objective is:

To evaluate the consequences in a whole farm perspective of the management strategies investigated in WP1-3. A specific task is to verify, by prototyping, the outcome of different management strategies in relation to grassland production in order to establish the best possible design of treatments in WP1

To extent an existing model – Ø-PLAN Dairy – to work with several crop rotations within a farm and differentiation of the grassland management

To analyse nutrient efficiency, productivity and economic results at farm level of different crop rotations and grassland strategies
